I know. But every movie? And if the stakes are already raised to the point of destroying Manhattan again, what's left for the next movie? They'll just destroy Manhattan again, but this time the redhead is in danger.

Does every superhero movie need the destruction of a major metropolitan area now? Even if it's already been destroyed in other movies?
It always bugs me when they get to the part where they drink Kool-aid.

I loved it and have nothing to add.

I 100% concur.
Perfectly fine. I only want trench run games updated every year. Just the trench run. That's it.
I agree, but as a Moffat apologist, I'm going to say that he's had to deal with more meddling from the BBC than RTD did. When it was clear that there was no sexual tension between Amy and Eleven (because Amy chose Rory and that did feel earned when she refers to him as the Last Centurion), they shipped off the Ponds,…
" the BBC had international hit designs, since way back; especially when they had that "American" play Peri."
I can see where you're coming from, but apart from the mini-sodes, that doesn't show up in what was broadcast for television. Both halves of the season had that and it bugged me to no end because I feel the supplemental materials shouldn't be required to follow the show. I liked Pond Life, but I only got a sense of…
Oh, I agree about S7a being inferior to S7b. The Fall of the Ponds and in particular Angels Take Manhattan did not feel earned at all. It's like they used one season to plow through two seasons worth of material to get to the 50th, hence treading water.

I actually think that was by design. Rory was supposed to grow on us as he grew on Amy. Also, notice how his hair goes from lame to cool as he gets more character development.
Girlfriend the Great and I have already started season 3 unfortunately, but are only two episodes in I think. I didn't initially realize that each season coincided with each subsequent book. I assumed it was just the first book because they didn't change the title, or add a sub-title, and was planning to start reading…
