they're definitely not making it easy for their fans to follow and I think most people are down on KoL but they're constantly changing things up is probably the best thing to do with their career. Of course, if you do that, you have to eventually bring the fans back with something great so they better have another In

Disquis is altering my AV Club reality right now so this comment should have been elsewhere

I think you're in that place right now. Sorry :(

I hate Nerdist. I wonder how many people appear on that podcast and then walk away wondering why they wasted all that time to hang out in a studio and listen to the hosts gab away about their lives

Just add Gloria shrieking at high decibels and you're good to go

Miner was a good character but pretty much symbolized mid-period the Office- something thrown in and quickly taken out in a few episodes because they couldn't commit to a plotline

It wasn't necessarily just Pam that made him move- he had been bored and disgruntled in Scranton and probably needed to get away from Michael and Dwight. See ongoing theme of Jim offered the opportunity for something more and opting out.

who doesn't want to sleep all day?

Jim & Pam were meant to be the straightmen on the show but then both of them got caught up in their romance so Karen was brought in to be the straight person. Her being the only normal, competent, intelligent person was one of the things I liked about her and the season in general

the 80's to me always reminds me of cheesy synthisizers, big huge drum sounds, fake drums, and wimpy guitar sounds. See Collins, Phil

let's face it too, if you get into a gunslinger duel in the old west, a loaded six string will get you killed pretty quickly

by era, do you mean the 80's?

I actually agree with Coogan's take on the song- it's such a generic power ballad that it's almost inoffensive because of it. It's like a computer spit it out. "Lady in Red" or "You Give Love a Bad Name" are awful because somebody put enough thought into it to make it awful

out of the all the clones, Sarah sees Cosima the least because she's in school. Combine that with her main mission being to find Rachel and not try and fit in as Cosima and it makes sense. I see it mainly has her not really caring that much in this one

the age thing is weird because while it's easy to believe Cosima and Sarah are the same age, Allison seems older in every, way, shape and form. Maybe it was an ongoing process where people did it over years or maybe Allison is just older than her years

don't even get me started on that

she's actually fluent in German (and French I think)- one of her parents was an interpreter who made sure she learned several languages.

it sounds like Tatanai's gotten too mainstream and so they have to throw out some indie bands to preserve their cred

yeah, there's glimpses of a much better villain in there but even James Bond villains were more subtle than the Master

I think that perfectly nails it but you can say that about 90% of the shows on TV too
