As a white guy who lives/works in Asia, I would opine that no, the unconscious trend of your dating is not necessarily racist as long as you are not attributing a set of characteristics or markers to these women as a whole.

I also like to "pile on the details" from time to time…
I don't know… Maybe I'm too old to remember what it was like when I was a young, selfish asshole, but I think BAROP should lay it out there, if only for health reasons. Your typical one night stand doesn't necessarily need to know all about your sex life (unless you have something serious going on down there), but…
I appreciate what you said in your original post, but, just to play dumb here, it seems that the sequence of events is: Person A proclaims interest in Person B. B says, "Sorry, isn't happening." Later, A says, "But you must not mean what you said earlier, because of an elaborate fantasy scenario I've created to…
Liz Shaw is smokin', whatever her politics.
The Shark Tank summary was spot-on. Kudos. I wouldn't pay to watch the fucking thing, though. It's more like something one watches accidentally when you and your spouse/partner come home too drunk to fuck and decide to open another bottle of wine.
I was going to say the exact same thing.
That sounds fucking awesome. The bit about the travel, not the bit about being apart.
"[We] must seize the Revolution and promote production, promote work, and promote war-readiness, and do all various aspects of work even better."
The last bit.
Agreed. Young guys are often horrible in the sack. When I was in my early 20's, I had a lot of older girlfriends, and it was a good experience for me in that regard. They were not afraid to show me what was up. And I think Dan's observation about the dynamic is important: men, young and old, can be thrown off by a…
I disagree. It's relevant. The point is that he and his spouse have a
healthy relationship and are strongly attracted to each other, but there
are still boundaries and limits.
Lots of couples do long distance temporarily (in my line of work, it's fairly common) and it's totally possible. But to me, personally, reading your post left the impression that you are ready to bail on the relationship.
GTFO's boyfriend sounds like an ass, although he may be redeemable. From her letter, she may not have much experience with LTRs. Maybe her boyfriend is equally inexperienced and hasn't yet learned that being in a LTR and living with someone doesn't necessarily mean it's open season their body.
Agreed on both counts.
Whoops. Damn autocorrect fucking up my shirt again…
They played a little bit of everything for us: Talking Heads, solo David Byrne, St. Vincent, and almost the whole collaborative album. It was fucking fantastic.
Even on that count, as a neo-hippy guitar jam band, they're pretty derivative. And I think they have one of the most annoying fan bases in music.
I saw them on the same tour, in Louisville, and it was a great show. St. Vincent dyed her hair the same gray, which I thought was adorable. Peas in a very weird pod, those two.
I just saw Batman Begins again on cable, and something isn't quite right about that girl's eyes…
