Even so don't you think that mentioning her debt to Reese and Carter for solving her friend's murder would be a better way to manipulate Harold?

Is anybody else bothered that Root "didn't care" for Reese? I mean she did call him up to thank him for solving her friend's murder. I guess they didn't want Harold to be too guilty for not setting her loose.

Nope it's been there since the season premiere. It was one of the things I paid attention to because I wanted to see where the new cast members would appear in the credits.

Analog Interface has been there since the season began.

Sloan is on the irrelevant list because the Machine knew about Vigilance voting to kill him. She knew the intersection where they would attack hence "impact" and the gun under the park bench. Vigilance isn't invisible to the Machine.

Sloan was definitely a victim. I was wondering why Root and Shaw needed to be in the truck with the prisoners when they could have been waiting in the intersection like everyone else until I remembered that Finch and Reese's job was to save Sloan. The Machine was probably keeping them close to Jason in case Reese

They're not less visible though? The Machine knew about their attempt to hijack the prison transfer and kill Jason.

To be fair he was probably concussed.

Terry O'Quinn as "Ma'am". Get on it writers!

IIRC that was the explanation in the pilot. I think the writers retconned that into Finch and Nathan deciding that the safest way to ensure that there's no abuse is to just give the government SSNs too.

Obviously the spinoff's title is Person of Indigo.

I just realized that Michelle's little speech about escape routes during the housewarming party is probably the reason why Sasha has baseball bats, crowbars and pretty pony hidden all over her apartment. Nice little detail.

I feel the writers juggled the teen character's relationships a lot from the pilot. In the first couple of episodes I got the impression that they were gonna use Melanie as Sasha's lackey and Boo and GInny would be closer as they both had non-ballet bodies.

I wouldn't mind losing a character a week if it keeps the show on the air even if that makes it difficult to flesh out the other relationships.

I've noticed the way she walks/stands and the way they're dressing her the past few episodes and wondered if they were going to go that route with the character.
