I think it's a deliberate thing - the so called bad guys, the devil and the woman locked up in Hell for millennia - always tell the truth and the angel Amenadiel has lied constantly.

That's long been my theory and this episode went some way to making that more of a possibility, especially if, in this instance Amenadiel is taking the Michael role and it was his divine essence which created the miracle.

Agreed, I didn't get past Book 4 when I realised I'd just basically read a rehash of Book 3. But I am reliably informed it does improve vastly around Book 10.

Loved it, another riot through history. Really loved the subtle nod to Katana as well :)

So did I. I always understood Michael being the eldest of the twins, he created the matter and Lucifer shaped it.

Bloody love this show, love that it doesn't take itself seriously, that they clearly have loads of fun making it and it feels very much like the weekly TV serials of the 1940s like Flash Gordon and Zorro.

Loved the Deadshot cameo, would love to see him back more regularly. Also loved the meta nods to both WWE's Summer Slam and the Ninja Turtles.

I really hope not because it would be beyond cliche.

Brilliant, just brilliant, the pacing, the story narrative, the scene with Jemma and May short as it was, the dynamic with Robbie and Daisy, the plotting, the big S.H.I.E.L.D. reveal, the fractured sense of where the team's at, the brilliant fight scene choreographed to the blackout EMP pulses, Fitz's rudimentary

Loved every single bit about this episode. Perfect return, perfect use of Superman so he didn't overshadow Supergirl, Tyler nailed Clark perfectly, the return in flavour to the Christopher Reeve incarnation was most welcome.

Fairly sure it's building up to Dan and Chloe ultimately reuniting. If they do the Luci/Chloe thing it would be a cliche and a really bad move imho. It works because they're not being "sexual" in terms of overt attraction to each other. They're more like big brother and exasperated little sister.

"enjoying the stories for the fantasies they are."

"though I’ll argue to my last breath that Neal McDonough’s scenery-chewing has been worth the price of admission all on its own."

"Lucifer started off as a critical joke"

Couldn't disagree with you more, thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was a clever way to get round the potential time paradoxes by removing all their younger selves from the timeline.
Now if it all goes wrong it won't have made a difference anyway. I love the sense of irony the show has in that everything the

I never thought I'd be feeling sorry for Zelena as I really didn't care for her at all in the Oz story arc but after this week's episode I'm now right on her side!

That was my first thought as well!

That, about Lucifer supposed to be blond, the nod to Mike Carey and the painting (which was obviously supposed to be the Archangel Michael but was decidedly feminine looking) spearing the Devil, were absolute gems of Easter Eggs this week (if, as I'm hoping they're going down the route that Chloe is half-angel and

Come on any show that can get the throwaway line about just making Rosemary's Baby is an absolute winner.

I'm intrigued now to see how they manage to pull all the threads together for next week's finale.
