Seconded. WTF is this?
Seconded. WTF is this?
Also, these folks are from California and were probably around for the infamous Gray Davis recall that brought us the Governator.
Or Firefly.
Yeah, I really feel for Ted, especially since I'm his age and know what it's like. Except in my case not all my friends are married (and those that are are "old married," not smug newlyweds who will only have "couple friends") and I haven't been ostracized for it…yet. Fifth wheel, indeed.
Man, I hope you're right on Alan, but who knows these days.
I normally would agree with you that rooting for a couple to break up is skeevy. But on the other hand, his brother-in-law did jail time and slept with prostitutes and generally causes trouble. He'd probably do a happy dance if Alicia actually left Peter for good for any reason, including another guy.
0 to asshole in 2 seconds. Yeah, I second wishing they'd gone a little slower with that rather than going all Vampire Diaries on it.
Just remember that this show takes place in an alternate universe. For example, all the French and Scottish people have vaguely English accents for…reasons.
Well, that does finally explain the boat shooting flash forward, at least. It makes me a lot more interested in that plotline than I was.
"Hi, I just totally ruined your mother and the father that raised you and broke your brother's heart, but I'm also your sister! Uh, the chick you thought was your sister wasn't, actually."
Ugh, no, Nolan is far hotter with dudes.
Like David Lee would care about the other tenants as long as he gets his.
The rumor (mentioned on nymag.com awhile back) is that Julianna Margulies, as a producer of the show, thinks that Alicia and Kalinda would never be friends again. And thus….they are not. Sigh.
Not much use of Nancy in this episode. She seems to have new adult hair and only tried to pull the "sweet wittle innocent" routine once, halfheartedly. I think she's over her own schtick. Would that Taylor Swift would follow her lead, though….
It was definitely mentioned in the pilot and I think episode 2 as well.
I really did want that explanation of where that crackass fake-Amish name came from! Disappointing!
I would definitely be interested in reviews of this show.
I agree, but what the hell would this show do with a good, sincere character? The ones we have already aren't that great. Plus, Nolan coupled with someone unsleazy is just not hot.
I found this surprisingly enjoyable. The whole "ghost in the walls" thing is bonkers but fun. And I did enjoy how nobody at any point in time told Mary, "No, you're just crazy." Which one would expect given the disappearing corpse and all that. And I did like how Francis said he'd stand up for her as a friend, if…
IT'S OFFICIAL CAPS LOCK DAY NOW, APPARENTLY.
