I really wished I liked the callback to Remedial Chaos Theory more. It felt unearned. I hope that this makes more sense as part of the season as a whole. As a single episode, it felt flat.
Ok, fair enough about the guys at the club and where that falls in the narrative - I thought the scene was there to give a reason why Douglas would extend at least some trust to CRS. I don't think you ever see the club members again - but I think it's fair to assume that they are part of the "Game" and not honest…
