I managed 'til the end of the last season, and I was barely paying attention by then. Didn't even bother past that. How did they fuck it up so royally after the first episode?

In my dreams he's returning to revive his short-lived series The Armando Iannucci Shows
Can't tell if serious…
"Gentlemen of honest British background" does include "provincials" such as the Welsh. You surely meant "English background"?
Armando Iannucci is clearly the Italianest of all names. How is it British in any way? I know of nobody else who's British and called Armando, or has the surname Iannucci.
WHY!? Veep is on fire at the moment. The last season was my favourite to date. I guess if Chris Morris continues to direct some episodes there will still be of a similar spirit.
Whilst you're there, I'd recommend Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Bloodline, House of Cards, Arrested Development, and Trailer Park Boys. Netflix is worth it!
Welcome back, Louie. And welcome back theme song! I enjoyed this episode. Much like Larry David in Curb, I'm starting to understand Louie's way of thinking…which is scary, considering I'm only 24. I still kinda wish the episodes were a bit longer, but I guess CK likes to keep it short and sweet (I'm here all week)…
This is true. The over-the-top music in the trailer had me thinking "here we go again!" but that one tickled me. I'll be back, and that's mainly due to the fact I have access to Netflix so don't really have an excuse!
Well that's the final nail in the coffin for Fox putting out anything on DVD now then. If they're stopping The Simpsons, there's no hope for other shows. I was pissed off when they kept releasing the first season (or first few seasons) of a show and then stopping, or like with The Americans being released on Blu-ray…
I rewatched it recently and it did not suck in the slightest (given that I've now seen almost all of Mann's oeuvre). The only thing that really sucked was the soundtrack, which brought the film down (and perhaps that whole 'let's go to Cuba in my speedboat' sequence). But yeah, it's definitely not the worst Mann film…
That was my only frustration with an otherwise excellent episode!
I just looked at it and didn't even really bother with it. Went back to Lego…and later, K'nex. Didn't actually have a computer at home 'til the first iMac (just a Gameboy), but still got to play a tonne of PC, Sega MegaDrive, Nintendo 64 and PS1 games at friends' houses. Still, when I did get that Mac…Nanosaur, After…
Definitely. A modern classic and probably in my Top 5 best British films of the decade (let's be honest, it's #1).
I was pumped for it (having seen Dominik's previous masterpiece The Assassination of Jesse James, and before that Chopper) and saw it on release week. Was my favourite film that year, even above The Master and Amour (but the former has grown on me since). Still, a hugely misunderstood film and definitely should be up…
Colin Farrell in semi-Miami Vice mode it seems. Excellent. Cannot wait for this.
I loved A Touch of Sin, Upstream Colour, The Wolf of Wall Street, Gone Girl, Bernie, Amour, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Take Shelter, Drive, Zero Dark Thirty, and Meek's Cutoff. Truly brilliant and original films that I will always return to with definite fondness. I also really liked Computer Chess, Force Majeure,…
Pretty solid Top 20, even if there are a few I feel are a bit overrated. I loved The Master, The Tree of Life, The Act of Killing, Boyhood, Under the Skin, The Social Network, Before Midnight, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Her and Inside Llewyn Davis, and quite liked Frances Ha, Whiplash, Winter's Bone, and Scott Pilgrim…
I didn't call anyone a 'malcontent'.
Doesn't it make more sense that in a state of shock after having to tell their child that they're spies, they blocked the use of a phone that she has in her bedroom? She was an immediate potential liability. If the Centre did call, wouldn't they try to call later and then would ask Philip and Elizabeth why the phone…
