I'm not sure what is worse: the fact that someone gave an animal such a name or the fact that they are drawing attention to it in this way. I am just full of contempt for that cat's owner, this Cox fellow and all of their associates right now.

I thought Oscar was the most rational character. I like how he actually came up with a practical use for wuphf, which was of course dismissed immediately.
Huzzah!
Somehow I feel I will be reloading this page forever without fulfillment. Is this my punishment?
The Satanic Firstes?
The other laugh for me was the cut from B.B. running away to the sad-eyed sombrero-dog (Frosty, was it?).
Plaid jacket, v-neck t-shirt, sunglasses inside, beards, black skinny jeans…
Good to see they're wearing the uniform.
Prediction: someone will do "Fairytale in New York" and everyone is going to hate it.
I've never seen the show, but I can't fathom how the inspirational side of the show can be consistent with the game show side. It is as if they are saying, "We're going to inspire you and give you hope and help you lose weight, but if you don't do it fast enough you're gone." And you say they get mad when people see…
Profit.
Well, Bowie isn't now and hasn't for a long time been a large figure in the mainstream but being as great as he is, his influence is always spreading. From time to time, people he inspired in some way will make it to the mainstream and champion Bowie. In the 90's it was Trent Reznor. I don't think there is anything…
Ziggy is probably an easier starting point but I think Aladdin Sane is the better album by some distance.
It's the Sweet Thing/Candidate medley that kills me. The album is a little hit and miss for me (I'm not crazy about "1984" or "Skeletal Family") but that is one of my favourite Bowie moments - probably second only to "Station to Station."
Mott the Hoople may have turned down "Suffragette City" but they took "All the Young Dudes." That was a good call. They would have screwed up "Suffragette City," but their "All the Young Dudes" is a classic.
The last couple albums haven't been bad, but it seems to me that whenever he puts out anything half-way decent (and even when he puts out crap) the critical response he gets is a bit more than the music deserves. Same goes for Neil Young and a lot of other old-timers who are still pumping things out.
Found it! (and several more)
He won't be undersold
This guy's got nothing on the legendary Gordy Dodd.
But was the intent of the clip to prove the claim that he taught next to nothing? I don't think so. I think you're just supposed to take Joe (or is it Nick) at his word and enjoy some funny bits.
If someone wants to make Necks t-shirts, I'll buy one.
Gonzo: the romantic, the persevering, the weirdo, the individualist, The Great.
