@avclub-a5fdfa672284da6bf4f4326e2b3698bd:disqus It is pretty likely they both hit on that trick. And in my defense, I saw the comment from Russell in an article on Survivor in general. I don't want you thinking I follow interviews with him.

I don't think you could say she played better. Her only ally on the tribe was Cochran, and when he jumped ship, she didn't go with him, which would have given them both a little more clout in the new tribe. On top of that, she didn't warn her own tribe of the blindside either. She just passively went down in flames.

I think that was Russel, actually.

Seems it would be easy enough to just rule that you can't send the same person twice.

That was truly, truly amazing.

Sell me on Laura. I'm not doubting she is a good pick, I just can't recall that many Laura moments so far. What has she done to win you over?

@avclub-a5fdfa672284da6bf4f4326e2b3698bd:disqus He could still go a long way, so he could turn out to be an excellent pick. His challenge skill should make him the last of the Four to go. So far, we have had each tribe lose one immunity challenge, so they might go a number of weeks before he falls.

@avclub-a5fdfa672284da6bf4f4326e2b3698bd:disqus Well, the military has the whole joke about "hurry and wait". I could see him thriving in that environment. He is fine showing a little effort in the challenges, but other than that he wants to relax.

@avclub-a5fdfa672284da6bf4f4326e2b3698bd:disqus Okay, that does help. I do want to like the guy again. Now I think about it, I got interrupted and missed last season's reunion show past the revelation of the winner, so it he acted with class during that, good for him.

They weren't acting surprised, as Laura said in a confessional right before the TC that she didn't have time to tell anyone.

I was a Malcolm fan for most of last season, but he completely lost me at the end. The way he was the one that ended the alliance with Denise, voted for her, then was abusive to her at the Tribal Council was seriously messed-up. I guess his prettiness must be part of it, but I am surprised he still has so many fans.

Just watched the video too. It's kind of laughable that he seems to think there was anything honorable about the invasion of Iraq.

I'm not entirely convinced on the "good guy" thing. Usually, when I hear that, it is in reference to someone that is fun to hang out with, but a complete asshole to work with, which seems Shamar's profile. I find those people the worst, as you have far more lenience in who you hang out with than who you have to work

@avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus That is true. I guess the real problem is that he is mediocre and has tried to take the lead in the tribe, which magnifies his mediocrity. It's really the same thing that Francesca did last week.

As far as showing other people on the Favorites tribe, I doubt they have anything to work with. All the smart players are laying low and letting Phillip and Brandon draw targets on their backs.
In any case, the focus was on the Fans this week, as they had the vote. Why would be seeing a lot of the Favorites. There is

Jamar is just lazy and stupid. Even if he had seen the show before, he would just wonder why the people in the heat were moving about doing things. I expect his whole takeaway from watching would be that if he was on the show, he just lie in the shade, which is what he has done.

@avclub-858b67085072a6f2403cf500871f4068:disqus What @Ike1:disqus said. Also ask Cochran how advantageous it is to be the brain in a flock of morons.

To pile on Reynold some more, he seems to have made no social connections at all outside his Beautiful Four, I mean,  Three. If he had done so, there might have been at least one shakey person who spilt to him that Allie was on the block. If he had known that, he would have actually been able to put the idol to use

@JudgeReinhold:disqus Sherri is playing a good game. I think she might have made a misstep in actively encouraging Jamar to be more of an ass. His laziness alone makes him a good goat. If Jamar turns up the obnoxiousness, it could lead to her defending him, while the rest of the alliance mutinies to vote him off,

On top of the crying, it was her comments that really got me. She showed  no self-awareness of the fact that she had actually betrayed the alliance Brandon was a part of. You can argue that he went over the top, but she really had stabbed Francesca and Brandon in the back.
