Good call @avclub-230e46d19fe78a6c8dc715659a7188d7:disqus   .  Speaking of the Massacre, I was working in a building on that block and the basement, where we kept supplies, had a disturbing tendency to fill with flies from time to time. We used to joke that it was due to spiritual residue of the Fort Dearborn

When I worked retail on Michigan Av in Chicago, there was a guy in a wheelchair who panhandled the the intersection with Wacker everyday. He would come in to buy a drink occasionally and he always had an enormous wad of bills.

I used to work retail in downtown Chicago, so I have an endless supply of whacky homeless people stories and the lessons they can impart.

It's a bit hard to say. She was pardoned because the man she killed never existed. Which raises the question of whether this is later, or if it is a case of time being re-written.

I just said this to Lincoln, but keep in mind that River isn't having these adventures in the same order. She likely still has many more encounters with them. Especially considering all the things they got up to in the ten years that were glossed over.

This stuff isn't happening in the same order for River. This is the end of the Doctor seeing them, not the end for her. Some of those past episodes are her future. There are probably even more in the ten years the show skipped over too.

Sure. My point was that they have picked very weak challengers after both losses. Voting people off only becomes dangerous for challenges when you have tribes vote someone off early for being a threat.

I'm not doubting you, but what indications? She hasn't shown she has any kind of grasp of how the game is played.

I'd say the opposite is true. With three small tribes, it matters less if you fall behind on numbers. They have wisely culled people that suck at challenges both weeks, so they have a pretty strong team now. Numbers are never an advantage in the challenges. It is just that few tribes really do aa good a job of voting

@avclub-09242a5045cda8c7f60b238ba86876a7:disqus I agree. I didn't mean to excuse him being a dick about the cookie comment completely. I'm all for provocative questions that reveal things, but give her tribe a chance to react to it.

Yeah, I didn't connect it with her religion either. It did, however, seem to be loaded with some kind of personal bitterness though. I think she would have had a better chance of diverting the votes if she had been able to play it reasonable, rather than making it seem hateful. Her behavior had already made her tribe
