The episode kind of reminded me of when I first fell in love with CBB, listening to the Andy Richter / Cake Boss two-parter, in that I was geniunely surprised and delighted at just how bizarre the show can get.

We recently bought a house, and yesterday I spent ~10 hours cleaning our old apartment. The Floppers made what could have been a nightmarish day cleaning baseboards and sweeping dust-bunnies a decent-to-good experience thanks to the great Paperboy episode, as well as a handful of old favourites. Thanks, Original

Local H's "Toxic" cover is wicked.

I too decided to give Flop House a listen at the beginning of the week - it became an immediate favourite. Thanks to everyone who has been recommending it in the Podmass comments!

I was also surprised / a little dismayed after plugging in McLusky.

I would have completely lost it had I finished Owen Meany at home. As it happened, I finished it on a plane, and struggled to keep it together.

Therapy? is almost the best.

Mclusky is relatively new to me (I checked them out after the Japandroids covered 'To Hell With Good Intentions') but man alive, I feel like they could have been huge (and maybe were, and I just missed out…)
