I assumed they had somehow managed to work Princess Peach into the land of Oz.

I found using the sheriff as a hand puppet to be pretty a unnerving/cool scene.

I recently turned 21 and I drink responsibly.

You're doing it wrong if you make it easy for other people to imagine you ejaculating into the toilet while staring directly at one of your fresh turds.

Oh sheeeeeit what a scenic route/film to cover! :D!

The Canadian pride stuff gave it an added dose of charm.

Somebody who willfully rejects anything outside of their comfort zone, due to impatience or lack of being interested in cultural enrichment. I think its definitely possible to be clever enough to know what to avoid and what would aid in helping you see worlds or feel things you hadn't before. Like a form of cultural

I enjoy people enjoying things, for the most part. One thing that irks me is when they feel they need to profess that something "changed their life" without showing any noticeable change in their actions or perspective that correlates with the thing that has changed them.

The Woman is totally worth a watch if you're looking for a horror film that is hard to sit through, gorey and infuriating in all the right ways. Even if it does get pretty dumb at times. I wouldn't call it a blotch in Mckee's resume. Offspring, the movie it is a sequel to isn't so bad either.

Upstream Color, one of the most acclaimed films of its year followed Primer. And Perfume's ending almost makes it essential viewing. Cloud Atlas probably splits a lot of people down the middle, but I thought it was gorgeous.

Same, except I was lucky enough that the bathrooms after the show led out to the buses, it being by the backdoor, and was able to get a hug from Darnielle as they came back in for merch. That fucking hug man :D Darnielle is the best, most stand up dude in music alive.

Interesting. Well reading up on 'topos' I'll be sure to try to make it a thing whenever I'm discussing something that calls for its usage on my own time. Its funny to say than trope.:D

Yup. Anybody pleased with themselves for missing out on episodes like 'The Constant' , 'Through the Looking Glass', or 'The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham' missed out on some excllent hours of television.

What is a topo when it refers to a film versus a trope?

Not even a Quarter Delight-ful. I'm disappointed. :(

Same :D! Thanks a.v. club.
