Don't tell a French-Canadian Maine-iac he's not white. They might not have ever seen a Mexican, but they sure do hate them. When I brought a Peruvian (former) boyfriend to meet my grandparents in northern Maine, the entire town turned out to stare at him, for a week. It was uncomfortable.

I kept my name. My husband would have preferred that I took his in some way, but our names sound stupid together, and I didn't want completely jettison my old surname, partly because it's a link to my long-dead dad, and partly because it indicates my ethnic heritage.  Now we have kids and I'm slightly conflicted. Part

That was my (French-Canadian) grandpa's insult of choice, except he phrased it in a way that literally translated to "eater of raw babies". That's just, like, disgusting.

Agree, I find Cake to be…..bland and dull . But then, she's a cat, and cats suck.

I'm in my mid-30s and one of my first ever exposures to the sexual perversion of the internets was a forwarded email I got in my freshman year of college — back when email forwards were things you actually read — that was a Smurfs porno.  A ton of horny blue guys, one Smurf female…..You can imagine where it went from

I think this is one of the reason I've never been a big Fionna and Cake fan.  I kind of enjoy the innocence and basic sexlessness of Finn. Fionna looks like a character from cartoon porn.

Having Edith actually decide to shack up with the editor would be great. Robert's head would explode.

I particularly remember catching that episode on TNT once — and this had to be the 4th or 5th time I'd seen it — while in the throes of post-partum depression. Started crying at the beginning of the episode,  and cried the entire hour, dripping tears all over my new baby, as I clutched him crazily in my arms. OMG the

Short-Haired Finn in this ep suddenly seemed so much older than usual Finn. It doesn't help that I've been re-watching S1 and Jeremy Shada's voice has changed so much since then. I keep expecting Finn to start sporting a wispy little mustache.

That's slighlty horrifying.

Why are his pajamas hairy? That always looks so itchy to me.

Especially ones with whacked-out poo brain. (A phrase that's become standard in my house).

…or he's the worst flirter of all time. You'd think his situation would have made him uber-discreet in romantic matters, but they're playing him as totally ham-handed. It's too bad because I WANT to like him, but I can't because he's creepy.

Those operas are my strongest memory of that show. They were, like, an EVENT in my house.

Dude, I JUST watched an episode of that show today with my kids. Holy cow, who would marry Lady Elaine? She was terrifying! And hideous.

Josh Holloway and Sawyer's wisecracks are the only things I miss about Lost.

What flavor is it?

Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee's cover of that is HAUNTING.

It's scary how much I remember of "Rags to Riches", considering I can barely remember my son's birth date and he's 3.
