I would 100% listen to this and enjoy the hell out of it.

It's hard to argue with Damn the Torpedoes, but Hard Promises is every bit as good or better. I find arguing between those two albums is like arguing between Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed.

I'm just going to take this on a tangent of places and cultures you wouldn't expect to find certain music. For example, CCR is HUGE in Mexico. I lived there a few years ago, and it seems like in every market or side street somebody's got Creedence playing on some beat-up old boombox.

Ah. I missed this whole discussion. But I basically agree with anyone arguing for 2 or 4.

Justified Season 2

Apologies if this has been said before (as I am confident it almost surely has), but I just realized that that line is also basically JK Simmons' closing line at the end of Burn After Reading:

I agree with you. Pedestrian Verse was good, and still had several songs that are among my favorites in their catalogue, including The Woodpile and especially Nitrous Gas, but I've found their last few records to be a series of diminishing (albeit still very good) returns. I think this album is a return to form. It is
