This show needs 100% less Victor. I'm keeping a running tally of the number of beatings I would have accrued in The Land before Timeout.

'Science is a Liar Sometimes' alone puts this at an A-.

Isn't she married to GOB? No? NO!?
Say it ain't so.

Throughout the course of this show, Kristina is in a perpetual state of blubbering up/lump in throat before sobbing/wiping her tears from crying. What the fuck.

And now, True Blood gets its very own Balrog.

Virtually everything in the FF series can be sourced back to mythology - an infinitely better topic of discussion than TB.

Deus ex machina, I'm fine with. This just happened to be cut-up, spliced, and ridiculous over all of 2 minutes. Magical ponies and swords of +3 included.

I'll be honest, didn't like the episode (read all the books). I even watched it twice to make sure I wasn't just bleary-eyed the first time. There were some great scenes, and they all took place outside the battlefield. Shows can pull off epic battles without a movie budget - place your key characters at reference

Right…but were I to remove the show from its historical context (which limits the death options drastically) I feel like the current ensemble stands on an even footing. Craig Parker has played a great villain (dem eyes) through and through.

I feel like I'm watching an old-fashioned Russian Roulette every time Crixus, Agron, Gannicus, and Oenomaus go into battle together. Spartacus is the namesake, Glaber the necessary villain, and well, Ashur is just too great a personality to die so soon. He's the 'Omar' of Spartacus.

There are a lot of BoC and "Metroid' elements to this track, but who ever said that was a bad thing?
