So, basically, it's like a spin-off, all the same people you love in a fun new environment! Archie's Place, so to speak.

I think I've said this a few times, so sorry for repeating myself, but i think the show is evolving from a high concept character-development based show into a hang-out, toss-funny-people-into-a-room show. Didn't the new producers or whatever work on Happy Endings or am I making that up? Because, when I imagine it as…
Luke Perry owes me money.
You know, there was some weird stuff, like the insinuation Anne and Jeff were bunkin together (but weren't) and (like mentioned below), why Pierce and Shirley were there, but it seems like this show is headed in the direction of just throwing the characters into a situation for whatever reason and have them go with it…
Everyone on this show seems really fit. Good on them.
That's fine, dude. Less competition
I agree. It didn't hit the gut like previous episodes may have. It wasn't really a "stand alone gem" like some of the Harmon episodes have been, but it was a pretty good mid-series sitcom hang-out show, which I think this is what the show is turning into. Which is fine by me.
It seems like a different rhythm is emerging with the new creative team; more loose, goofy non-sequiturs like the weird hair thing. It definitely hasn't displayed the character depth the previous incarnation developed, but I am willing to give it a chance to see how it evolves. It'll be different, but maybe it could…
Well, I think that is a good way to approach it. There is definitely a different pacing and tone, but I think they are trying to incorporate elements that older fans would enjoy as well.
Oops.
