I can't help but think Agent Carter would have done so much better on Netflix. It never felt at home or supported on ABC.

I'm a black woman, and I too am increasingly weary when it comes to discussing gender politics in film and tv (or race. or sexuality.). While I'm glad these discussions are happening, and I've seen and been apart of some great ones, some of these think pieces or reviews come across as an easy way for a writer to say…
as a 4C gal myself, I too was pleased.
You might also still die if you don't stop and help. That vampire might get upset and come find you. So basically just don't come to Mystic Falls.
For me, Klaus killing Tyler's mom while that christmas carol played is one of the most effective deaths VD has ever done. It was so well done in it's cruelty that it made it impossible for me to sympathize with Klaus ever again.
I can't tell if the quality of the shows isn't there anymore or that I'm getting older, working in the industry and realize it's kind of all BS. Maybe the actors are thinking the same thing because everyone seemed more drunk and sweaty than usual.
I had the same thought but with an additional "Wait…Empire is a drama?" because I HAVE watched that and would consider it a comedy/musical.
The real couple I'm rooting for this season
A Little Princess (the 1995 version)
The surprise breakfast feast Sara Crewe & Becky wake up to after going to bed cold & hungry in their little attic. They were even given fur lined slippers and quilted robes to wear while stuffing their faces.
It's a surprisingly enjoyable show. I think the only thing that throws it off for me are the sets that both Disney & Nick use and reuse in all of their teen shows. All of them look exactly the same, and give the feeling of nothing actually being behind the doors or inside the cabinets. The sets on their older shows…
I will say my fondness for Angie has everything to do with my fondness for Alexandra "Alex" Udinov.
I know they are moving Peggy to Los Angeles, but I would be bummed if Gjokaj doesn't come back. I also never thought I'd ever think this, but I actually found Chad Michael Murray's character slightly above bearable by the end of last season, even with his snub of Peggy. While I feel like his storyline can be left as…
"Aargh!"
I am neither overwhelmed or underwhelmed. What is this feeling?
Everything about Harper's Island is a fuzzy haze to me at this point EXCEPT for that scene. so well done.
because of his track record for getting his ass kicked I thought for sure he was going to have that hand smashed to pieces
right! Lowell could have used some of that stealth.
also pretty sure Ruth Negga is actually Cooper's ex in real life and an ex Misfits cast member.
With the exception of Bonnie & Damon's friendship, and the Ian S. Directed Caroline episode, this has been a mess. Here's to hoping that next season they can write themselves out of the current corner they've been in for at least two seasons.
In that case good for her and her character but bummed she is used so infrequently here because she has such great chemistry with Charlie Cox and I would love to see her play off the other characters more.
