Agreed, Goldthwait was hilarious.

Frankly it's amazing they review as many podcasts as they do, it seems like a lot of the time it's a struggle to say as much as "the banter is lively" or "they have a good rapport"

It was quite awesome, I just wish they didn't cut him off. I know, they have time constraints and they want to be fair to the other storytellers but come on, this was an anecdote about meeting Michael Jackson. Do you think anyone in attendance that night had a story to top that?

Yeah I didn't really have high expectations for an interview with Bobcat but he had some really great anecdotes and Aukerman's Michael Bolton impression was pretty amazing.
It's funny, because I think I maybe listen to that show once a month or something, and yet I swear I've heard him tell that story about his mom asking why she should get cable at least 5 times. Does he tell it on every show?
She truly is the female Jay Leno.
@TempestXax:disqus I saw the first episode, and hated it for its sub-par writing and ridiculous overhype, but congratulations on your hilariously ironic accusation of knee-jerk hatred! You're probably the kind of person who's a complete fucking idiot.
I was with you up through "on"
And nobody called Whitney The Next Louie
I'm just baffled by the fact that VanDerWerff described the characters arriving fully-formed. The only one that could even loosely be considered multidimensional is the main character, aside from that the characters basically boil down to an accent or a bizarre urge to hang out in bathrooms while their friends are on…
I was sorta interested when the intro described it as part of some radio drama revival podcast but yeah, that worked about as well as any other fictional bit on TAL, which is to say, not very! Really nice production values! But the story was pretty dumb, and it dragged on and on, way past the point where the narrator…
Yep, it took Season 3 of Lost, but I think they're realizing that 13 decent episodes > 23 hours' worth of writer torture
This is great news, because everyone loved Red Dragon and Hannibal so much! Sorry, but without the Lecter/Starling relationship and Ted Levine there ain't much meat on them bones.
A Black Jew at a Nazi Clan rally? That's almost as kooky as being a straight-edge gun nut who made all of his money off of stoner peaceniks!
Jesus, I wish you cumblobs would stop talking about the Shmegma Millions for FIVE DAMN MINUTES
Agreed… It's a shtick that would maybe just barely work as a 7-minute SNL skit, and to hear it go on for any longer than that is pretty fucking torturous.
