"This installment of Doug Loves Movies is proof that the inclusion of Rory Scovel can make any podcast episode great."

It would be nice if they could at least just TRY to reign in the hosts who want to flex their musical chops. Yeah, I know, every actor secretly wants to be a singer, but shit is getting ridiculous this season.

Woe betides anyone who ever in the course of his or her life wrote something that upsets the Internet Social Justice Crusaders, for they have untold hours to scour google caches, shame you on every social networking platform, and of course to argue, refreshing browser windows into the wee hours just to experience the

Yeah, you're pretty goddamn prissy if it really bugs you that someone is using their phone for a few seconds. Just be thankful nobody's talking (assuming nobody is)

So yeah, hopefully the whole situation with Lewis and the hand isn't just going to be a coincidence. At the end of last season they seemed to be strongly suggesting that this guy was on to Dexter… If it turns out he's just upset about Dexter making fun of his indie video game, that's pretty lame!

The last season was fucking unwatchable. I mean, it's always been a dumb show but now it's not even coherent, it's like they took script pages from several crappy action/adventure shows and stapled them together.

Yeah the Gyp material has been getting better on this show, particularly as he interacts with Nucky face to face. I was kinda worried he'd be a boring antagonist since he seems so ham-handed and oafish compared to Nucky's wit and subtlety or even Jimmy's, but his sort of horse sense is actually a pretty potent. Egads, what an annoying picture up there. Is there some context that makes it a tad less pretentious that she's holding up a sign that says "This is the future of music"? Was that picture taken outside the press conference where Apple first announced itunes?

Yeah that Sound Opinions "Buried Treasures" episode definitely belongs in "the rest" section… It sounds promising but their discoveries are all fucking horrendous. Sometimes shit flies under the radar for a reason.

Just the act of derailing the conversation is sorta amusing and Doug's mock-exasperation can be funny but I can't help but wish Pete Holmes would maybe -  just every once in a while - interrupt to say something that's actually funny.
