I assumed the point of it is that life goes on in the office in the same way it always has.

I think it's the fact that the water is always slightly too low for them to climb out.

I had to pause the TV laughing at Frankie's comment about squirrels falling in the pool. I've experienced that far too many times.

"Take THAT, boy bands!"

The voicemail thing was a silly amount to put in one scene, but Nellie's hopeful talking head that implied she hadn't heard the voicemail from the adoption agency broke my heart a little. I don't know if it was the situation or the character, but I was just happy she was happy with Pam.

David Wallace will be reappearing this season, according to the finale's plot description.

This episode may have had some problems (shoehorned anger issues, the complete ridiculousness of the Nellie plot, the sudden turnaround of everybody in the office to liking Nellie [unless they still hate her and just accept that she's boss now. Also, was it just me, or did Jim only stand when Andy called a meeting?])

I think those ridiculous mistakes are one of the big draws of the show. It's almost fun to watch the show veer ever closer to falling apart, held together only by Carson's panicked commands to the judges. Not only that, but it kind of makes the show seem like the likable David to AI's Goliath.

Same. I understand why people might be annoyed by her, but I like her and the extreme hate confuses me. I also agree about the magician part.

I actually enjoyed Nellie's character once she quieted down in the apartment. Maybe I was just in a mood, but I almost felt bad for her just a tiny bit.

Oh, I know, I'm not saying this is one of the greats or anything. But, accepting the current incarnation of these characters, I enjoy the idea.

I kind of liked the idea of Nellie appearing as some sort of raise-granting wizard to a bunch of people who've been working under a bumbling fool for some time (ignoring the fact that Nellie knows her promises are crap and this season seemed to be pushing the fact that they all love Andy) and I don't get why everyone

Was the Stewie-wants-things-in-his-mouth a gay joke or baby joke? When he said it, I thought it was a gay joke, but then he looked very baby-ish sucking on it.

My favorite part about that is the implication that everyone else frequently checks his tumblr, even though he never updates.

THAT is where I've seen her! That was driving me crazy! Thank you.

When Angela broke up with him.

I thought Nellie was wagging her finger at Jim and I got pretty excited. Dwight's facial expression, especially, seemed like he was getting passed over. I mean, I don't mind that Dwight got it, but it would have been nice to see Jim get offered the position.
