The AP story got his history wrong. Michael worked at Nat Lamp while he worked for Lennon. Around '71/'72. Lennon was a big fan of the magazine. Michael was working two jobs and raising a young family and couldn't keep it up. Minor stuff, really, but I knew him and it bothered me. I doubt it would have bothered him.
