That table-clearing at the end of the episode was Patty Hewes-esque! Loved it.

If I am remembering correctly, Dan points out that now that the congressman is no longer an elected official and no longer on the committee, and therefore there is no more reason to be concerned!

God Willing and the Creek Don't Rise, is, dare I say, a brilliant episode, and certainly the best episode they've done since Theoretical Love Is Not Dead.  What could have been a cheap "reunion" episode, crafted solely to bring back some familiar faces, became a meaningful and logical way to conclude the series: Nancy

Thank you Myles for the always insightful and thought-provoking reviews.  I feel like at times I'm too lenient with the series because it's become so comfortable; I admit I've been a fan of each and every season and at times can be biased because I just enjoy it so much.  That being said, I completely agree that there

I disagree on the grading of this one, as I thought it was one of the strongest episodes of the season.  Finally, we see Nancy and Jill interacting earnestly, highlighting another relationship and drawing parallels between their respective parenting methods and successes.  I'm also very much relieved that Jill isn't

I feel like they've always maintained a high quality - their current house in CT is furnished beautifully!  Granted, it's been a long while since I've seen the sets from the beginning seasons, so maybe there is a contrast that I'm forgetting.

Very interesting idea about Jill's pregnancy, although I'm not sure that has as much significance as Andy becoming a real father.  Further, having Andy tied to Nancy in a biological sense - having a child with Nancy's sister - really cements him with the family in a way he never could have before.

I hate to be that person again, but does anyone know the name of the instrumental song that was playing at the end of the episode? I'd check myself with Shazam but I don't have any way… Thanks in advance (again)

I'm really enjoying the direction Nancy is taking this season.  It would have been so easy, and such a let-down, if Nancy had a change of heart in the hospital and then reverted to her old ways once exposed to her family and the external pressures.  While there is still the opportunity for the writers to do that, it's

Nice to finally see the Julia Louis-Dreyfus material make it from the web series to the television series, but I'm disappointed they didn't recruit her to film new scenes like they have with previous guests.  All of the Kudrow-Dreyfus scenes from the web series were incorporated into this one episode, so unless Julia

I happened to look up the actor's name when it rolled in the opening credits, thinking it was a Judah flashback (although after the drama between MLP and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, I doubt he'll be invited back…) I saw the chaplain's picture on Google, and after not seeing him in the episode, assumed it was the man from the
