Burton and crew have to be somewhat aware that he should get back some creative mojo instead of keeping the goth whimsy cruise control well.

Yeah I remember Looker was decent and pretty good. It had some real world ambition with the material. Finney was as great as always is. It was kinda cool that he was a rather unlikely unconventional central character and not just a star of the moment actor.
