Only one Pirates of the Caribbean clip?

I was really hoping someone would post a failed firstie so that I could say "I'm sorry you caused all that cancerAIDS."

You mean they aren't real, like Smith's?!?!

I drive a Chevrolet movie theater

Does it turn out that the people doing the con were themselves conned? Because that would be an interesting little turn of events.

You mean the magic illusions. Over-the-top tricks are something a whore does for extra money.

It's like those magic TV specials they used to do where they would make a monster truck disappear on stage, then cut to reaction shots from an audience composed of people who looked like attractive but out of work actors. You basically have to take their word for it that it's very impressive.

I don't know, I've found books surprisingly easy to judge by their covers alone. I feel like at least 70% of trailers are indicative of the movie's actual quality.

Wow, really? This looked pretty laughably bad in the trailers. It's one of those movies that everyone involved with seems to realize is not going to do well even before it opens.

Didn't Tarantino insist that he be allowed to adapt Casino Royale, set it in 1953, shoot it in black and white and cast Pierce Brosnan? I'm sure that would have enjoyed that movie, but I'm not surprised EON didn't want to make that many  concessions.

"It's like that song was written about my own son."

That explains your unusual "YES FATTIES" fetish, I suppose.

Chet Haze did have a cameo in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which, in terms of quality, may be the filmic equivalent of his music. So his acting career is off to a dubious start.

I really like the moment in Chris Elliott's Action Family where Letterman makes his cameo and starts talking about Bob Elliott.

I found a lot of the guest stars (both new and return) unnecessary, but Richter nailed every scene (and every incarnation of himself).

Those were my faves as well. I'll add that I was also initially annoyed with the gimmick of devoting each episode to its own character and all of the semi-confusing chronology stuff because it felt unlike AD, but in the end I think that may have helped in my effort to watch this as something separate from the original

I also hated Across the Universe when it came out. The main thing I remember is that the movie is full of "Hey Chuck, it's you cousin Marvin"-type winks at the audience.

I don't know if this was intentional, but the very first episode was so disappointing that I found myself watching the rest of the episodes with very diminished expectations, and I thought it improved dramatically. I don't know if I can determine whether they justify their existence and deserve to be put alongside

As an illiterate moron, I would like to please know all of the highlights about the making of Hudson Hawk (which I have on DVD) so that I never have to learn how to read a book. Please.

I spent my weekend going back and forth between houses I was dogsitting, which was a lonely pursuit but… both houses had Netflix! I blue through a whole thing of Arrested Development episodes like they were candy beans, etc., etc. I was worried during the first two episodes, but it got better. It wasn't as good as
