I really adore that movie (and the underrated works of John McNaughton in general), and I especially love that David Carradine plays DeNiro's partner, and when they are investigating a murder at an Italian restaurant, he says, "I told you that this food would kill ya."

Not since they stopped making kina lillet.

I remember buying a used vinyl copy of Double Fantasy and being very disappointed to find that all of the Lennon tracks scratched from being played so frequently, while all of the Yoko tracks were untouched and in pristine condition.

Why isn't anyone adapting Bill Carter's "The War for Late Night" into a movie? That one is way more fun to make casting speculations about: will Daniel Roebuck reprise his role as Leno? Will Conan O'Brien be played by Finnish President Tarja Halonen? Will Andy Richter play himself?
