So, Wild Things officially didn't make the list?

Wild Things legitimately belongs on this list. I won't insist on (or expect) a top ten inclusion, but it should have made the top fifty and now I'm angry just thinking about the fact that it didn't.

I have never heard of Horse Thief. I looked it up and found a tiny article about it on Wikipedia, which lists its actual release date as 1986 (apparently it didn't hit American shores till the 90's).

I haven't seen that scene, although to his credit, Tarantino in interviews will play up his appreciation of (non exploitation) foreign films and even Preston Sturges comedies… but at the same time, it seems that as a filmmaker he is either too inept or too cowardly to broadcast those influences as proudly as he

Your avatar implores you to add South Park to that list, and mine requests that Futurama be put on as well (hey, it debuted in 1999).

Apparently you all forgot that Back to the Future Part III came out in 1990.

Nice to see so much focus on the 90's. I have a friend who jokingly vows to one day write "The Willenium That Never Came," a seminal book detailing how the awful-yet-optimistic mass entertainment of the 90's promised us a new millennium full of technological wonders, carefree  peace, limitless prosperity and steampunk

I wouldn't be surprised to see Toy Story in the top ten, but it looks like The Lion King isn't going to make the cut. And where's Iron Giant?

I'm guessing that the "double feature by a single filmmaker" will be Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction by Tarantino (although they could surprise us all with Jackie Brown), and I suspect that there will be some grumbling about their high placement on the list and that, despite my love of those films, I will be

There is no way that Miller's Crossing is better than The Big Lebowski.
