See I was thinking I'm pretty okay with Avatar not going all Game of Thrones re: blood and guts.

That is a good point, especially because Ted said "you make those jokes a lot," so perhaps it was his subconscious trying to keep them together after his other subconscious parts were making the jokes for Barney.

Yeah, 20 years from now Barney brushed his cheek with his left hand when Barney complements him on his skin and he has a wedding ring on.

Or Future Ted has decided to tell them this story so they know about their parents' relationship and Ted is the one that is terminal.

20 years from now Barney was wearing a wedding ring. May have been someone else's but I'd say it was with Robin.

I was unaware that the opinions of the critics here are sacred. This episode started with Robin acting like a 14 year old girl for a man she's never displayed such feelings for. She has always been cool and then a switch is just flipped and her routine becomes incredibly unfunny. And then Barney is not Barney except

When the episode is this bad, it deserves to be shit on. I have no faith in Bowman if she gives this episode a B+.

This was seriously an atrocious episode. The person that reviews this show gives it way too much credit. Awful, awful episode.

I'm not sure why everyone here seems to be angry that people like this book or that it was published at all.  It was a fine book, not an incredible work of literature, but it certainly had its high points.
