Senior year of college, my friend noted that he and his parents weren't getting along so a couple days after Christmas I texted him to say that he could always crash at my place if he needed a safe space. Two days later he calls me sobbing that his parents want him out, so I got in my car and picked him up. He stayed

Is that when you are on the AV Club but the lights are off because you forgot to pay the electric bill because you are a piece of shit? I can definitely do that!

OK, I was wrong guys. Jessica Jones made it into the top 20. You can disregard my comments from yesterday. Or just don't listen to me ever.

Jezebel? That's a website that does DIY Vajazzling, right?

Inside Amy Schumer was one of the best TV shows this year. "12 Angry Men Inside Amy Schumer" was one of the best episodes of the year and I stand by this.

See I've heard a lot of people say that Daredevil i the better show. I have no opinion. WHY CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?

I thought I was the only one who thought the series finale was…fine? Some funny moments, but overly sentimental and a bit contrived. Is it just me? Am I a heartless goon?

Shows I hope are in the top 20: Bojack Horseman, Inside Amy Schumer, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Transparent, Hannibal (aka the shows I have been able to fit into my schedule this year).

I'm not super convinced. Grades per episode range from C+ to A- on the reviews.

I'm glad Looking got a shout out here. "Looking for a Plot" remains one of my favorite episodes of television this year.

That was just a hyperbole to emphasize how happy I am. I tapped out at 15.

I'M DONE WITH THE HARDEST SEMESTER OF MY LIFE AND GOT ALMOST ALL As I DON'T KNOW HOW I DID IT I'M SO HAPPY I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY LIFE I HAVE MASTURBATED LIKE 40 TIMES BECAUSE I'M LITERALLY SO HAPPY.

See, I'm a little torn. When that scene happened, I was like "Of course! This is such a typical movie-thing to do."

Literally same. I haven't seen Carol yet, but I'm kind of in "Cate Blanchett has two Oscars already. It's fine if she doesn't win."

I would say either the school scene (which I believe got it's own article a month or so back) where the camera just rotates in one long extended take, or the beach scene would have my vote. Both are so well done.

"Take her to the moon for me" or when Reilly returns home from the bus should have made it in. I was weeping in the theater rather profusely during both those scenes. Even the scene in the pit of lost memories where Joy clutches onto moments as they fade away… dear God why is Inside Out so good?

Kill Bill remains my favorite movie of all time, and it's definitely Tarantino's greatest achievement. I think Tarantino often gets caught up in his own style, and his movies start to pay the price. Inglorious Basterds is great, but it has so much of his wordy, illustrative dialogue. Volume One of Kill Bill plays like

I actually had tacos and wine for dinner last night, and I didn't even tell you! Wait, am I that predictable?

You're so considerate!

I still stopped reading after cock.
