This story really just bums me out. I don't really blame anyone involved, and I hope they end up finding some happiness with their decisions and their lives, but everything about this story is just soul-crushing.

The intro for episode one was really poorly executed. I eventually got what they were going for with the cuts, but it didn't make much sense the first time I watched it. Maybe that was my failing, though.

Kind of bullshit
As others have pointed out, this is a pretty dubious claim. The World Cup final outdraws the Superbowl every year by a wide margin.

The scene in the basement in War of the Worlds isn't exactly dynamic, but I remember it being pretty incredible. That was a movie with some great moments, scenes and visuals that added up to a whole lot of noise.
