I saw this at TIFF in September — definitely worth checking out. I had heard people say before in interviews for documentaries on Marilyn how she was smarter than people thought, etc., but hearing her own writing read aloud actually showed it.

I teach this, too — kids do love it. It's the rare movie where you can spend time unlocking the plot (which kids love to do), but also have the deeper discussions about the human condition like Scott gets into in his essay.
