I was genuinely hoping that Trump during the election would cause the GOP to implode, so that maybe something constructive could be born from the ashes.

And somehow, they got rewarded for all this bullshit by the electorate, seems like that just encourages a race to the bottom of malicious obstruction for obstructions sake.

Yeah, if there was any justice in the world they would have gotten 0% of the vote on every front the last few elections.

Trail of Tears was tremendously SAD! Believe me, tremendous, but it bigly smokem peace pipe? I don't know where I'm going with this.

But….have they not heard the man talk?

Nobody knew being president could be so complicated!

Not even like this is a once in a life time opportunity for the man, having won multiple super bowls and all.

I'm partial to thinking he did not really expect to win.

True.

Yeah, Obama might not have delivered, but the main message was literally one of hope.

Eh OP said he was on the Report "Plenty of times". Untrue far as I know.

I've given up on it being good, think the format blunts Colberts edge, and Batiste likes to murder comic timing over and over.

Was he on plenty of times? Far as I know he was only ever on once, when Colbert and O'reilly did an exchange of each being on each others shows, and from what I've read Colbert was sorta unhappy with how it went, since O'reilly insisted on trying to be a funny guy on both shows, where Colbert was expecting him to play

Yeah I find it kinda depressing that so many people seem thrilled to gamble south Korean lives on their intuition that things would totally work out if you just bombed the hell outta North Korea.

Oh snap dog! That kinda razor sharp schoolyard wit makes you look hella presidential, maybe you should run.

I'd be shocked if this was controversial, the Colbert Report was easily the funnier show.

"Obviously I would like Trump to know everything, but does this really matter?"

"

So, the day he signed it jobs were created? Hey has he even been responsible for a new budget being put in place yet? Would decisions by the previous administration not dictate outcomes for quite a while longer than 3 months?

What exactly is it you think should be done about NK? Maybe bombing it could work that stabilizing magic that has been sprinkled all over the middle east?
