Huh, I didn't even heard of this game coming out. I guess everyone is too enraptured with Civ5 on the horizon.

Lately they have been doing something just like that in the print version of PCGamer. I notice that there used to be a "Games of our Lives" feature at AVClub here which did talk about games from past decades. I'm not quite sure when it was discontinued but now that this section has more users willing to comment on
