I thought about that Donkey Lips, but those variety shows (from what I gather, wasn't born until the 80s) were merely annoying. Or just too… orange. They were missing the disdain a lot of TV has now. A lot of cheap TV, anyway.

21st century TV is so weird and broad. Taken as a whole it has the very best (Breaking Bad, Sopranos, Arrested Development) and the very worst (literally dozens of shows whose premise is to laugh at the humanity of the poor and/or uneducated).

Man, this movie was rated PG. The 70s were just better. That's not nostalgia or anything, they just were.
