I feel like they were already pretty old when Sha Na Na had a career playing oldies in the early 70s. And then rock was dead. Then the Stooges and Sex Pistols. Then it was definitely dead. Then Nirvana and Radiohead. Then it was totally DEAD, no question. Then the Stripes and the Strokes. But now — for REAL this time…

This guy helps run Numero? Well, I guess I love him. I saw Eccentric Soul: Omnibus in the record store the other day and 'twas a thing of beauty. If the 45 speed on my player worked, I'd have stolen Christmas for my loved ones to possess it.

I completely understand how Saturn can sound generic, and it did to me from the time I bought it back in 2000 to the time I sold it back in 2000.

Boooo (and not Boo-urns) to you, DBag. For some reason, I like No Doubt more now (at 30) than I did at 16. Nothing beats Return of Saturn for arena bands of the late 90s. I'm glad this band got huge and - for whatever reason, probably because they're great - stayed huge for years and years.
