Lagavulin 16 year costs around $80. If it's good enough for Ron Fucking Swanson, it's good enough for you.

Remaking a zombie movie seems like the most creatively bankrupt activity you could possibly engage in. I like Savini's work, but come on. I refuse to believe that after a decade-long zombie craze there isn't a property out there that's far more worthy of everyone's time.

Have they done a joke in this series yet where sharknadoes are so commonplace that NOAA has taken to naming them like hurricanes?

Not to blow right past all the rest of your post (which I appreciate and agree with), but 'ethnically Catholic' is a pretty great term. I've never heard it before today, but it fits me pretty well too.

Seconded. There's a handful of great tracks on that album. The Earthling tour was great as well.

METCALF!

I love it when one of these 'written by/directed by/starring' movies ends up being a love letter from the creator to himself, like The Room or Miami Connection. Hopefully Old Fashioned also features lots of shots of the director in the center of a group of friends, having a great time, or of lesser characters asking

Liberté, Égalité, Butt stuff!

Aw yissss, Vonnegut.

Your mother and I have decided to stop paying your art school tuition, Internet.

ACTUALLY, IT'S ABOUT ETHICS IN COMEDY JOURNALISM

I think they were all on Interscope maybe? I only wound up there because the bass player from my high school band was super into Primus and had asked me to tag along. Little known fact: if you were a bass player in a shitty high school band in the mid 90's you were legally obligated to like Primus. I was there to hear

I'm pretty sure I saw them on the same tour. Sandwiched in between Powerman 5000 and Primus was pre-fame Limp Bizkit. Super weird grouping.

It's when I start feeling like that that I like to turn off the internet and go do something IRL for a while. I can go engage in something I find positive like volunteering or whatever and almost instantly be reminded that the Internet is not real life. I realize this is a whole vast conversation and I'm way

Mission Hill's use of Everybody Hurts in their episode parodying MTV's Real World totally nails the specific type of overuse the song suffers from.

Not that you're wrong about the food, but Grand Rapids is the second largest city in Michigan after Detroit with around 190K inside the city limits and over a million when you include the suburbs.
