"Rock and roll!"

I really disliked most of the writing, but the setpieces were well done.

I just actively don't see how you can get that out of what we actually see of Cap's combat style, especially with the raid at the beginning of Winter Soldier. Nothing he did there was remotely fatal. I do believe he probably tries to stop people non-fatally, but at the end of the day he's a soldier, he had to have

I was really disappointed by the pushbacks and her not showing up in Ultron like they'd talked about at one point. But I try to be optimistic, and they just said in the announcement blitz the other day that the director will be announced in the next couple months.

I ran into that/this with my mother independently developing Robert + Lyanna before I talked to her about the 20 years of Rhaegar theorizing.

When I was in high school my driver's ed guy talked about how he'd just started these "Crown of Thorns" books.

I'll admit to at least trying to eat healthy, but I have the combined type of diet, very fast metabolism and lack of exercise that would add up to that, the difference being that when I was AMAB I actively got a lot of pressure to gain weight that gives me some bad feelings about my diet. All of that plus my height

Growing up, my mom would tell me stories about how developing early not only resulted in increased sexual harassment, but other girls and *their mothers* viciously and constantly slut-shaming her, based entirely on her chest. Just awful.

I mean, that's fair, and I'll grant it was assumption but it seemed like a natural guess to me at the time that anyone introduced as a rival brothel owner would be even worse than Al. But they got pretty quickly into establishing him, it's not like it took until Veronica Mars' death. His treatment of Joanie alone.

Cy was never set up as a good guy, not for a second in that first episode.

It was trying to take something really not written for tv/movie and make it visually dynamic. And it was just silly. Arraki's style was a lot more appropriate for AOT.

Yeah, that was 13 half hour episodes plus three more as an epilogue. (Epilogue's great, by the way)

No, you're right, the last three episodes are written the way they are because DeKnight thought they were the wrapup of the series, as the four shows setting up Defenders were initially conceived as miniseries. He thought he was writing a series finale, hence the rushed-ness. He quit as soon as Netflix abruptly

Who are you calling hollow

I would gladly do so with David Boreanaz, although preferably for Angel Investigations.

HERE BE SPOILERS

I've listened to LR a lot to get to like it better, and picked up on some I didn't register before that really like now, but I keep trying Gone and it has never done anything for me.

I'm with you on most of those, but prefer Fade to Bound 2 or Gone, don't much like those two.

Friday the 13th!

I'm not a fan of Deadpool. But hey, parent coolness needs a proper distribution.
