She was so great. Krabappel was one of my favourite characters, and Bart The Lover one of my favourite episodes.

Yes, watching television. What else would I be doing?

I am so sorry, people that were all betting on Dads being cancelled quickly. You just can't bet against FOX's insanity.

Full Metal Jacket, the entirety of Gomer Pyle's breakdown and torment in the first half, but in particular the final murder-suicide sequence. Holy shit, Vincent D'onofrio's face alone was one of the most disturbing things I'd ever seen at the time. I think that might have been the first time I'd been scared by a film

Minotaur sex. . .

Oh, *that's it*, that makes sense. I knew my memory was being faulty yet again.

I was just going by my familiarity with Edith Piaf's song, I'd appreciate the correction.

Dogtooth really is a great film, quietly devastating and very effective in its theme/allegory. Weird that I'm finding myself agreeing with HDB on something, but I can at least take comfort in complaining at him for taking away some of the surprise.

Obviously it's the biography of Lobster1's life.

I'm well-aware of the circumstances behind how he happened, I just meant in the sense of the expansion of the mythology.

What @avclub-1c0318dbf51f5c7bf9c39ff805ed97cc:disqus said is accurate. Most people go by those titles over the official episode #X titles because they're rather poetic and pretty fitting for the series.

Goddamn, the stuff with Leland is powerful and persists to be after so long. Between that, Killer BOB and the Black Lodge, this show almost managed to justify revealing Laura Palmer's killer, but not quite.

It's not good horror, if it even can be counted as horror. I know, I wish we had a good horror series too.

I thought the preview looked bad as well, but I've heard nothing but good things, including from VanDerWerff, except from the above people. I haven't checked it out yet, though, and I'm admittedly slightly reluctant. I'll tell you if I see it soon enough.

You sound just like my brother did about Homeland after season 2.

Hat has always been a thinking cap.

"Hindu! There are seven hundred million of us!"

Yeha, this one is only pretty good, a B+, but See My Vest transcends it.
