The show needs an episode where Lucas isn't there or where Riley isn't just fawning over him. Maybe even develop Lucas' character outside the love interest. Have a lighthearted episode that's not trying to always hit the 90s after school "very special" episode vibe to it like Boy Meets World Danger Boy where Feeny and

The Girl Meets World opening has really grown on me. I never hated the opening when I first saw it, but I've grown to like it more and more upon repeat viewings.

Didn't realize Wilfred is airing the last two episodes next week, but wow this was such a penultimate episode I'm curious to see how the show ends.

I was surprised by how many times I saw youtube ads for Gravity Falls this week.

Hirsch brought this up in an interview or two. Mabel, in a similar vein to Wendy, is comfortable in her own skin. They know who they are and are comfortable with that, so it's harder for Hirsch to dig deeper into their psyches to find stories like he does with Dipper.

Think these are good numbers for Disney XD and this episode

He really does seem to pay attention to the fan's reactions to the show and from his interviews, it sounded like he's adjusting the material accordingly. Wendy's development being a prime example of that.

Wow, Mermando was a character I was NOT expecting to come back.

To be fair, it was pretty obscure ad written in the barrel lightly while the room itself was fairly dark. It's fun the team is making the clues harder for the fans to find and adding more to hunt for.

Realistically though, there's still room for plenty of awkwardness that could be written. It's just a different kind now.

Yeah a commentary for every episode, but at least for season 2, that's only available if you buy the blu ray.

That was the most relatable part of the episode, Dipper willing to do anything else if it means you don't have to reveal you love your crush. Been there.

Allow me to put on my scepticles.

It's also nice that they didn't make the reference explicit, so while it's much more meaningful if you remember episode 5, you can just accept the gesture as an in episode callback.

;(

Syrup on cereal!

Despite all the hell Legend of Korra has gone through with Nick's scheduling, their Blu Ray discs are incredible. An all season commentary? Amazing.

Apparently Hirsch didn't get the memo until mid way through production.

Pretty sure it's Fertilia. I mean, if the apocalypse does happen, we need to usher in a new generation quickly.

There's a scene I think that's going to be overlooked where Dipper was gushing when the shapeshifter was trying to trick Dipper. He had the same eyes Mabel often gets when she's in awe. It was really adorable and it's nice to see the male twin have those expressions too.
