If they take out any side characters just in the plot to have a budding romance in the story, and make it 90-100 minutes, then I'd be really excited to see the 5th film.

Liking cause I was wondering if the show was gonna try to go for that. A part of me also wanted to see Bolin/Korra give it a go again given their date in the 5th episode was also pretty nice.

I did notice Kai kept saying bisons throughout the episode, even after Tenzin said the right way to say it.

It's definitely one of those aesops I wish Tenzin reached more quickly since it's "clear" to the audience that's something Tenzin needs to learn.

She dumped him in the heat of the moment while yelling both at him and her father for telling her what to do. And though she did say sorry and explained why Unalaq is a good master, she left Tenzin on fairly bad terms, barely looking him in the eye and having her arms crossed when Tenzin was bowing to her and saying

Yeah, I get that it's a different experience than teaching one on one, he's under pressure given the whole rebirth of a nation thing, and it's been shown Tenzin in general seems to not have a good grasp on how to sell the Air Nation culture.

Don't really see how. Seems like Mako/Asami ended the moment Mako didn't step up and tell Korra that they broke up when she had amnesia and kissed her. Then Korra/Mako "brok up for real" at the end of season 2.

it has nothing to do with sex, but age. Tenzin was Korra's mentor and Jinora's father. If Tenzin was female or if Korra/Jinora was male it's be just as bad.

It might if book 4 just gets delayed in being shown by Nick indefinitely, or the show is shown on Nick's other networks, Nicktoons (though with the internet I guess it doesn't really matter as long as they're out there for me I guess)

Given the beginning of this season, it seems like Mako and Asami aren't. And she probably should have a problem with Varrick, but she has her company back, and presumably the money she got from being bought out by Varrick Industries allowed her to stay on her feet.

It's always darkest before the dawn.

Wow. Totally misread your post. Thought you were talking about Book 2 of AtLA instead. And that's what my post was about. My bad.

For me anyways, it was less of Korra's decision but more of her attitude towards Tenzin. After all they've been through, even if she was frustrated there should have been more respect when she fired him.

That's the most perplexing part about Book 2 to me. It is probably the best written season of both AtLA and LoK with the most solid episodes all throughout, but it also feels more sluggish than it needs to be. I guess the issue with never hitting the lows is that it also never hits those highs since the whole season

Suyin seems like a person that would rub me the wrong way even if she has no issue with me and I have no issue with her.

Wish I had more comments on episode 6 especially since I did like it, but most of my stuff is more on episode 7. The only thing I will say is that I find it odd that Aang apparently didn't metalbend during his life. Did he try and just couldn't do it at first and gave up, or did he just have no interest?

I can say with recent certainty that bison are delicious.

The gap between The Rift and the flashback is also a very long time, a lot could have happened between then. I do suspect though that the comic will end with Toph's father and Toph on a somewhat rocky road to recovery.

It's been said explicitly episodes 3-4 and 5-6 were written and meant to be together. That said, with a 13 episode season, I'm hoping the rest of the episode pairs play off each other better.

He's bringing out the rebel in Jinora though. I get teenage rebellion is common, and she was probably more in the right, but I hated the way she acted towards her father, even if the discussion ultimately brought the two closer together.
