One thing I noticed with Old Wounds is that apparently Toph made enough peace with her parents to feel comfortable enough to send her daughter to them. I doubt she was talking about Suyin's paternal grandparents. And it would seem really odd personally if Toph sent her daughter to them if she wasn't at least in

Huh. Su really is Toph's daughter. That seems like her style of earthbending to a tee.

What's that even mean?

So none of Jake's absences in season 5 were because he was being with his family? Huh.

I liked Braff for the majority of Scrubs and dig his musical playlist and the Shins. Thought the kickstarter was too self-indulgent, have never seen Garden State, and thought his role as the Monkey in the Oz film was alright, though nothing spectacular that stood out, good or bad. All in all, I think I like him

Even if the episode played it off thinking Wilfred is real, there's enough theoretically here to have this all still be in Ryan's head.

Like it when it was only available at Chipotle.

Think the sad truth is that n my actual comments, I totally have tons of grammar and syntax issues, not to mention long, almost run-on sentences.

Fun fact when I was going back to watching season 2. Kya's premiere episode mentioned how she used to beat him up as a kid, jokingly of course. Dunno if the scraps ever went to bending (though I bet it did). So yeah, this holds a lot of merit.

Whatevs, I talk reel good ulredy

I think she is. She's still very confrontational towards authority figures like the Earth Queen and President Raiko, and she's still the attack first ask questions later like when she unknowingly attacked the officers in the second episode.

I dunno. Still expecting the ending to have a lot of vague not at all explained phenomena with a deux or two thrown in the mix. Think book 2 of ATLA was the only finale without this happening.

I would love to see Granny Katara still kick some major butt in this series.

Honestly given the previous season, I'm fine with playing it safe. Wonder if the writers intentionally wrote her this way due to fan backlash in season 2. From the DVD commentaries they are aware of it, but I dunno if the writing team actually started after season 2 aired, or if this is even from some season 1

Feel bad for Lin.

Maybe astral projection is purely an airbender technique, while trying to connect and find someone through their energy is a spiritual thing?

New crack theory. What if Aang was Lin's father?

I like to think Jason Segel found out about the ending years ago and that's why he seems to be ready to move on from the project during the last few seasons.

I mean at most kids shows had single or divorced parents, but I can't really think of any that had a single parent with two kids with a different person.

Also, as cool as the confirmation of astral projection being a part of air bending, when's a character going to use super speed like Aang did in the Blue Spirit?
