day of reckoning fucking rules - so much better than it has any right to be. works as an action movie as well as a psychological horror film, which is a surprisingly effective combo. worth seeing in 3D, as well if you get the chance.

one of my favorite shows on right now, but i think giving it a finite end is probably an ok thing. though i find the show's growing fixation on it's 'mythology' really boring, so i hope the last season doesn't go overboard in focusing on wrapping that crap up.
