It's unfair that Mindy is criticized in a way her fellow comedy peers (Amy Poehler, Tina Fey) are not, but poc tend to be more susceptible to diversity, so I find it odd that her show seems to lack so much of it.

Me too. The whole point of the scene was that each table was breaking down the negative stereotypes of each race. Listening to NPR and having side swept bangs aren't exactly "negative" stereotypes in my book. White people got off easy.
