My dream TCM for TV station would probably be completist, or at least would run classic seasons. It would feature:
We get it on Dish Network. Have the DVR to record episodes of M*A*S*H and Bosom Buddies. But I think my DVR is racist because I set it to record Sanford & Son and it records Good Times half the time instead.

The Hektor to Ali's Achilles.
"Thrilla in Manila" is a really strong British documentary that plays on HBO. A good counter to the Ali-skewing conventional wisdom on the rivalry. Hard to watch it (or to know anything about the guy, really) and not admire the dude.

The elusiveness and density give me pause. Those traits were also present in a lot of Deadwood scripts, and Milch's willingness to risk being oblique also allowed Deadwood to be such an emotionally rich show. Anyone here read the pilot script? Its density and elusiveness make John from Cincinnati scripts read like episodes of Chuck. Milch is my favorite TV writer, so I'm really hoping this sticks.
