Romney asked for this. Literally, he sought out an endorsement from Ted Nugent. Every batshit crazy thing he says should be thrown right on Romney's doorstep.

I didn't think it was that bad… did feel like a retread, especially early on, but it felt more like Spider-Man than the Raimi movies.

NO! WE'RE OUT OF BEARCLAWS!

If they can greatly expand the streaming library (and not just randomly eliminate shit every week), I'm fine with physical media going away when it comes to rentals. Not looking forward to this attitude towards purchasing movies and video games though.
At this rate, Community might outlive NBC.
There are other variables to consider though. Would Adele get a record deal in 1983? She was found on Myspace and this is the same music industry that frequently hid overweight people behind lip-syncing models in music videos.
It really wasn't that bad… except for Shia swinging from vines with monkeys, that was terrible. But yeah, I thought it was a perfectly fine movie and if it had been released in 1984 and Temple of Doom were released in 2008, the reaction would've been exactly the same.
"Drive was better than anything Tarantino has done since 'Kill Bill.'"
But Tarantino's influences and tastes have always been unconventional. I'm sure he appreciates many lesser known flicks, but the guy's idea of what a movie is was molded by martial arts movies, grindhouse and whatever shit came through the video store.
He's made quite a bit of progress on the environment. In fact, there was just a story last week about how he's quadrupled renewable energies on public land. Of course, no one talked about it since there was no angle on how it would play in the polls.
I guess you don't value freedom and liberty!!!
HBO Go has me worried that's the direction on-demand streaming is going… or at least how the big six are going to try to push it.
If HBO wants people to start buying their DVDs, they need to stop charging $60 for 13 episodes of television. At least it's better than when they were charging $100 for Six Feet Under and The Sopranos, but hell, when 22-episode network TV shows are $15 at Target two weeks after release, it's pretty absurd.
Ah c'mon, it wasn't THAT bad. The ending was bad, but there were a couple decent scares and the exorcism scenes were creepy. Very by the numbers, but I have a hard time believing it was as bad as The Darkest Hour.
