What? No award for the Raid 2? I was sure it would win in the Best Deaf, Half-Blind Hit Woman Using Two Claw Hammers to Murder a Subway Car Full of Goons category.

Just remember that you're only an atheist because you hate God for your mom dying of tuberculosis, and in the end, you'll tearfully admit it and come back to the Jesus fold.

Good call on the lousy production. It was hard to hear the audience laugh, and at first, I thought they were dying up there, but then I realized the crowd just probably wasn't miced properly. Not that I need the audience to tell me what's funny, but it's kidn of disconcerting to watch standup and only hear a few

I think this review hits the nail on the head. I'm a big fan of the Sklars, but this just didn't do much for me. The pre- and post-show bits with the studio analysis and interviews with Bonnie Bernstein were inspired, but most the rest struck me as flat. It seemed like their joke writing was lazy this time around

Best movie dragon ever, hand's down.

This review really nails why I love Band of Brothers so much, and why I prefer it to its older brother, Saving Private Ryan (a movie that I worshiped when it came out in 1998 and still have great, although somewhat diminished, affection for today). Because we get 10 hours with these characters, we really come to care

I was 14 in 1986, too, I was into comics, and, at the time, I was 100% about Marvel. So why do I have no recollection whatsoever of the New Universe? I'm guessing that I missed it because I was still spending all my time trying to wrap my brain around the horror that was the Beyonder's perm-and-jumpsuit look in

What I find interesting is that, when the series started, I thought Pete was going to be the main character, largely b/c episode 1 focused so heavily upon his divorce and him being the 3x champ (or whatever it was). Since then, though, he's clearly become the profile character of the 6 leads. I suppose you could

It's been 20+ years, and Bob still terrifies the poo out of me.

Definitely a number of X-Files eps. that could be on the list, my favorites being:

Great, now I can't stop thinking about how much better this show would be with Karen Gillan as the Scottish tech nerd instead of the two cardboard cutouts who play FitzSimmons.  Coulson could really use a stapler that also shoots bullets or a gun that can also staple (depending on how he looks at it).

Richard II isn't my favorite of Shakespeare's histories, but "Let us sit upon the ground and tell sad stories of the death of kings" is easily my favorite line from all of literature.  Not only does it tell you everything you need to know about the play and Richard himself but, in 15 words, it says more than 99% of
