Rowena, Crowley's witch mother on Supernatural, always makes me zone out. I think the actress is limited and the character grating and shrill.

I think the reason the show has lasted so long is that while Dean and Sam (to some extent) are bad boys, they are pretty non-threatening and likeable, which I think appeals to the show's fanbase.
