Thank you! The one thing that keeps me going in this season is knowing that Claire goes back to the 40s in the end. I hope next season is better. I want to like the show. I'm not sure I'd like the books from the way people talk about them here…they sound like something I might have enjoyed as a teen, but not now.

Spoilers are usually flagged, yes, but that doesn't amount to much when there are seven or eight posts in a row, entire threads containing spoilers, and I just have to squint my eyes and scroll down until I hope it's safe. I miss a lot of non-spoiler comments this way. It's no big deal, really, and I haven't been

I actually think it's the other way around, and it's Black Jack Randall who is evil to the point of cartoonish absurdity. He reminds me of Denzel Washington's character in Training Day.

Ok, you guys, I can't hold back any longer. [deep breath]

I gotta agree with the OP; wearing fur is an unnecessary cruelty in most parts of the world, no matter how proud a meat-eater you are.

I liked Catherine in the beginning when she was pretty much the only audience surrogate, but yeah, it's a bummer they had to turn her into this.

For me, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt just edges it out in terms of sheer laughs per minute and dizzying rapidfire jokes, but Lady Dynamite has more emotional resonance and feels so real despite having so many elements of the absurd. Plus, when Maria is onscreen (which is nearly the entire show, n'est-ce pas?), I can't

I've been a fan of Maria for over 10 years, since the Comedians of Comedy DVD, in which she was easily my favorite, and the Maria Bamford Show.

Donald J. Trump is a smoo! A big, fat smoo!

I say this as an unhappily in a relationship mostly hetero possible alien, probable human woman: I'm in love with Oscar Isaac, despite him having two first names.

That was a good interview; thanks for posting.

Oh dude, I just saw the episode of his failed series where he interviews comedians, the one with Garry Shandling that actually caused the series to be canceled. It was more cringe inducing than anything on the Office, but I think the blame was shared by both parties.

The French, Piaf-style version of the song from the Helen Keller musical that plays when Titus is giving his speech (and at the end of the episode), man this show is rich.

"You think that makes me feel 'grape'? No. It makes me berry sad. Cause you know who else used to mess with my head like that? The Reverend."
"Kimmy, I am berry sorry. Excuse me—very. You have every raisin—oh, come on, Banandrea…"

This has got me thinking: whom could they have cast so the character would be as attractive as Snowden, or more than? Maybe Ralph Fiennes if he were 20 years younger. They should have just said, "Fuck it — call Tilda Swinton."

When I saw the header photo, I thought, "This is one of those rare instances where the movie version is less attractive than the real-life version." See also that one movie where Colm Feore played Glenn Gould.

Ahh, I'm so confused with all the Aesops and A$APs and what not, what the fuck is going on?!?!?

That's how I interpreted it too. Like the big bad wolf in Into the Woods, "nice is different than good."

The nose contouring was my favorite.

Great things in this episode:
