What.

That's true. That is what she said.

He's not mad you made olive oil snow, just disappointed.

When that big necked guy was on screen for like two minutes, you just KNEW he'd be in the kitchen wearing a flat-brimmed cap.

Hopefully he learns how to deal with Padma, like Tom and Gail have.

I think I like the new format. Everyone in the room adds an element of perverse torture porn.

Yeah, I mean if this was a challenge where you're supposed to highlight a specific ingredient but it got lost in the shuffle of that quesadilla, I'd get that as a complaint.

Yeah, if I ever became a chef and did this challenge, my explanation would be, "My first dish ever was called Mish Mosh - macaroni and cheese, chili, and canned corn."

I didn't follow The Knockout, so I was glad to hear what the format was. I was originally thinking it was very unfair, since the episode order was luck of the draw, not when you got eliminated.

Regarding the density - Am I remembering it wrong, or were there a good half dozen contestants who weren't even introduced?

Did anyone else's airing of the HD broadcast look SD / low-rez? I recorded the first broadcast on Bravo HD, but it looked like I downloaded an AVI or something.

The Worker Joes terrified me to levels the Alien could never hope to achieve.

Is Jon Lajoie filming a movie where he plays a castaway or something? He looked like he was 130 pounds this episode.

Welp, I don't agree with any of this.

A perfect comparison, and I was actually thinking that this episode.

Yeah, I am very forgiving of this show, and would usually give the episodes a grade higher than the AV Club does. But I was surprised they rated the episode this high. This was a D- episode, and the worst one ever.

I haven't followed any reception to it. So is the general consensus of Marry Me that it has a great cast but is an awful show? That's the impression I get from the previews, etc.

I need to investigate IMDB or something to see which episodes Ruspin will be in*. Not that I won't watch the episodes without him, but this way I can brace my expectations.

Well there was the "Pinktober" NFL reference.
