If Superman gets to kill, pretty much any Superman movie should be over in about 10 seconds.  "There's Lex Luthor, doing evil."  SNAP.  "Parasite!"  LASER.  "Toyman!  I'm just going to pee on you and blow your skin off with the stream."  THAT HAPPENS.

Mark Millar is kind of becoming a comics world joke.  Not quite the joke that Rob Liefeld is, since Mark Millar actually has, y'know, skill, but he still can't resist adding whatever the writing equivalent of giant guns and pouches is to every bloody thing he does.

That honestly sounds like a Venture Brothers episode.
